Hey! It's nice to meet you!

I am a new teacher and excited to get into the classroom and work with students.  I have a Bachelor of Education (2020) with a specialization in Secondary English Langauge Arts from the University of Calgary, as well as a Business degree with a specialization in Non-Profit Management, which gives me a unique and varied perspective as I transition into the classroom.  I have a passion for teaching and learning and look forward to sharing and collaborating in a new school community.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with students to help them develop a love for reading and writing while helping to develop resiliency skills when faced with personal or academic challenges.  I am committed to providing unique and interactive lessons and learning tasks for students while accommodating diverse learning needs.  Together in the classroom we can build strong relationships and develop a love for learning.

In addition to my university education, I am also an accomplished dance and yoga teacher with various certifications including my 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification, Acrobatic Arts M2, Progressing Ballet Technique, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD), Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT) and more.  I have spent time as a guest instructor at various schools in Calgary, choreographing and directing full-length drama productions, including The Little Mermaid, Dear Evan Hansen, Aladdin, High School Musical and Crazy for You.
